Mrs. Noemi Campos Dominguez
Hello! I am a product of the Diamond Hill pyramid. I attended H.V. Helbing, Meacham, and Diamond Hill.
I received both my Associate of Arts and Associate of Arts in Teaching from TCC. I received my Bachelor Degree majoring in Science and minoring in Education from Tarleton State University with honors.
I have five years working in a classroom. This is my third year as a teacher. As a teacher I encourage, re-direct and most important of all educate all students. Being a teacher is not a job or career for me but rather a calling. I strive to be the most competent teacher I can become.
I believe every child should have the same opportunities regarding education and a quality life. I strive to be the best and most competent teacher I can be, in order to give my students the necessary tools they need to succeed in life. I encourage my students to dream big. My students will know that with an education and commitment, the sky will be the limit. By doing this, they will positively impact the world and its future.

Ms. Athena Leal
Hello all, my name is Athena Leal. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX and never strayed far from home. I attended college at the University of North Texas and earned a bachelor's degree in education.
I have been teaching for three years as a third grade math and science teacher and this will be my first teaching year at H.V. Helbing. I actually attended H.V. Helbing for elementary from Pre K to fifth grade, and I am really excited to be back! My second grade teacher from Helbing was the person who inspired me to teach because she truly believed in me, which is what I want to share with my students.
Outside of school, I have a five-year-old son, whose favorite subject is science, just like his mom. I really enjoy playing the guitar, piano, and reading mystery novels.
I'm very excited about starting the year and meeting my wonderful new students!

Mrs. Erica Salas
My name is Erica Salas and I started teaching in 2009 at H. V. Helbing Elementary. I lived in Peru for 16 years and I moved to the U. S. for a better education. After a few years, I graduated from North Side High School and, later on, from the University of Texas at Arlington. Outside teaching, I like to spend time with my family. I have two wonderful daughters and a husband. I feel very privileged to have such an important profession as teaching young children. I look forward to helping my students become responsible and independent children who love learning.
