PE Teacher

Erin Strickland, P.E. Teacher

I graduated from UTA with a B.A. in Kinesiology and a minor in biology.  I am certified ec-12 in physical education.

I have been with H.V. Helbing for 17 years.  Education has always been my job, my career... but PE is my passion!!!

I played soccer for over 30 years.  I started when I was 5 and played all through college and continued playing after on several teams.  I also played softball from 7th grade through high school.   I continued my softball journey and played on a women's recreational team and a co-ed team for 20 plus years.

I love sports:  teaching them, playing them and watching them.   I look forward to educating your children this school year.  We will learn all the physical activities and health benefits for living an active and healthy lifestyle.
