Miss Alarcón is a third grade bilingual teacher. She previously taught first and second grade. This is her 6th year teaching at H.V. Helbing Elementary.

Maria Galvan
I am Maria D. Galvan and I have been teaching since 2006 from when I was in Mexico. I graduated from Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco with a bachelors degree in Business and later moved to the US for better opportunities. I enjoy teaching because I get the opportunity to better prepare the students for the outside world. I strongly believe that students should have equal opportunities regardless of background.
Outside of school, I am married and have 3 children. I also have 7 outdoor cats that like to wander around the neighborhood. I enjoy watching movies and crafts. My favorite drinks include bubble tea and coffee
